Narodowe Muzeum (National Museum)
The museum houses a great collection of Polish and European artworks. For example it displays Jan Matejko's monumental Battle of Grunwald and you can find here also an impressive collection of Egyptian art. Warsaw Rising Museum
This museum shows the feeling of the Polish life during the World War II. Despite hunger and death, they didn't let their spirits to be crushed. The films, photographs, interviews, life-size dioramas, soundscapes and plaques in both Polish and English language demonstrate, how people resisted the Nazis. Address: ul. Royal Castle

Wilanów Palace

Warsaw Historical Museum
The museum is located in 11 reconstructed town houses. It displays the constant exhibition "The Seven Ages of Warsaw" and some temporary exhibitions, where you can see paintings, drawings, sculptures and other artworks, as well photographs and documents about the burgers of Warsaw.

Pawiak Prison
